DATE NIGHT with Chris & Vanessa interview on Kevin Hart's LOL Channel. Lots of talk about Paul's life-story, how they met, formed 2nd Chance, & tons on marriage life and personal life.
The world has proven time and time again to be a cruel place that drives people to act out in desperation and resort to decisions that put them in a more difficult situation. Once the act is done, it can be challenging for them to get back on their feet again. Paul NuRoyal, last name formerly Nutall, understands the struggles of getting a second chance all too well and initially created 2nd Chance to help fallen celebrities get the opportunity to redeem themselves.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Paul was born to a single mother of nine children. Growing up in lack and fishing for food, from the very beginning, he knew what it was like to struggle. Despite the large hurdle life placed before him, Paul was able to stand on his own two feet, becoming a renowned gang-unit officer and three-time kickboxing world champion in 1990-1992 and winning the tough man contest ran by Art Dore. He would even oversee former NBA champion Sean Elliott's karate training as his instructor and was security for singer, Selena Quintanilla. Although things were starting to look up, Paul's family would wrongfully disown him for almost three decades. The situation drove him to leave San Antonio in 1993 and move to Michigan, where he received his two Master's degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science. He used his degrees to become a Youth specialist and boxing instructor at a local juvenile facility, where he thrived for seventeen years. Despite how busy he had been, Paul continued training boxers, even sparring with Hall of Famer professional Chris Byrd. Their training sessions were instrumental to Byrd's victory over Evander Holyfield. Additionally, Paul has contributed as a sparring partner for Hasim Rahman, helping him earn the heavyweight championship in 2001.
Once again, things were starting to look up, but by 2007, Paul would fall victim to a wrongful conviction. Accused of a Nigerian scam, he would spend fourteen months in jail as he waited for his trial. When the time finally came, the judge dropped the charges upon reviewing his innocence. Although he was free, Paul had to be picked up again shortly for his inability to pay child support. After serving for six months, Paul would try to reconcile with his family. In the twenty-five years since he left, he discovered his mother had passed away in 2017. Life started to take a downhill turn as his father followed three months later. Tragedy continued to strike as Hurricane Harvey took his eldest twin daughters in Houston.
Most people would have given up and fallen into a deep depression, but Paul managed to march through the gloom of his trials and tribulations. He would begin helping fallen celebrities in Hollywood and later, begin filming a reality show he was co-producing where he would try to help a woman he once dated, by allowing her to be one of the girls on the show. Paul would later be forced to let her go due to the pending warrants against her, which caused more troubles for him, as she had written a false report about him online in an attempt to ruin his career and reputation. When confronted, it was revealed that she was jealous of another castmate whom she tried to sabotage, and whom Paul would eventually marry.
Despite all the troubles he went through, Paul NuRoyal grew in faith, pushing forward to achieve his goals. Together with his wife, he would create the television programs 2nd Chance Saves Lives , Forgotten Prisoners, & 2nd Chance Radio TV show. Using their platforms, the couple has been helping people from Hollywood and all walks of life get the chance to redeem themselves. With the program gaining traction, Paul and his wife foresee their 2nd Chance organization generating a myriad of spin-off shows and franchising their shows to other countries to help their own. Regardless of what happens, Paul NuRoyal and his wife plan to use their platform to influence, motivate, and inspire the next generation.

Tiffany NuRoyal (formerly Nutall) was born in Zamboanga, Philippines. At the age of 2 she was saved by her grandmother who relentlessly searched for ways to bring her to the United States after being left in the Philippines by her parents. After living in Kentucky for a couple of years, her family decided to move to East Los Angeles, California for better opportunities. New migrants themselves, Tiffany witnessed struggle as her parents worked minimum wage jobs to support the family while her mother studied to pass the Nursing board exam; these experiences became her motivation to want more out of life free from financial limitations. Although her childhood was tumultuous and restricted from being able to speak her truth against prejudices and injustice, she found her release playing a variety of sports in school where her competitiveness and athleticism soared.
Moving from school to school as her family sought after a safer environment away from the dangerous gang-related areas, Tiffany grew up being a loner with short-lasting friendships; yet through this self-discovery, her gifts and talents developed and prospered. However, felt was a blessing in disguise in being able to experience the different cultures in each school - which greatly influenced her love of diversity. Learning and experiencing close-knit family love from her extended Caucasian family in Kentucky, Hispanic culture in East Los Angeles, Black history & culture from her pre-dominant black school in fifth grade, to a mix of all nationalities once she reached the sixth grade. Strongly encouraged by both parents to excel academically to be top of her class, great tenacity and work ethic was instilled in her which later benefited her growth. However, through her childhood, she was looked upon as the "black sheep" of the family, due to her unique character traits, mindset, and their general misunderstanding of her drive and ambition.
Once she and her family moved to Canyon Country to stay, she began to progress in her social life once she reached high school where she was crowned Homecoming Princess her sophomore year, Prom Princess her junior year, & nominated for Winter formal and Prom Queen her senior year. During this time, Tiffany was also ecstatic finally being able to join a sports team for the first time in her life where she made the JV soccer & track team her freshman year. With zero prior experience, Tiffany became the soccer team's Varsity goalkeeper the following year. Unfortunately by the end of her senior year, her family's financial struggles were still present. Although graduating in the top 15 percent of her class, she felt applying to UC and Ivy League schools would be financially foolish putting her in a hole she was not willing to undertake.
Growing up in a traditional Filipino family, she was nurtured to believe that the medical field was the best path to follow β financial stability, consistent job opportunities, and prestige. Still wary about the path to the medical field she instead joined a financial firm shortly after graduating, while working odd jobs and later becoming a sales representative. It was there where she learned about the power of compound interest, financial evaluation, investing, and relentless ambition led her to become the youngest at a prominent financial firm to receive licensure at the age of 19. Shortly after receiving licensure, she realized the inability to help the less fortunate and quickly moved on from that business field, realizing that her heart wanted to help individuals on a more meaningful platform β βI found myself gravitating to help people who were living paycheck to paycheck, but I couldnβt help them unless they were able to put away a small amount of money each month, which they were unable to do. To me, it wasnβt purpose enough for me to stay. I wanted to work in a field where I had the freedom to help people from all walks of life. Working as a sales rep. and saving every cent of my extra earnings gave me the ability to switch the course.β
With the request of her parents to join the medical field, Tiffany began taking courses at a community college attempting to pursue a career in Nursing while working as a top performer in business retail along the way. While living with her family, Tiffany began to mature into a young adult and supported herself financially. At that time, she knew she wanted to help others, and thought maybe it would be the medical field as her parents were suggesting. But after becoming an intern at a UCLA extension program working alongside nurses, it did not take long for her to realize the medical field was not in her future. She had made her final decision to drop out of college and the internship program entirely to follow her heart - another path within the business field. With her sights set for greater things, the only option was to further develop herself mentally through constant networking, self-education, expanding her knowledge, and surrounding herself with like-minded individuals in her desired field. Over the years her genuine curiosity across many subjects and niches of the business field evolved her mindset to become an ambitious businesswoman, entrepreneur, inventor, singer & more. Not willing to settle for an average lifestyle, she has taken a departure into the unprecedented, diverging from the normal existence, her family had not accepted.
At age 22, she became a product of beauty & brains when becoming a candidate for Miss Philippines-USA beauty pageant here in the states, hoping that her win would be the platform she would have to become an influence for change in the world. As the pageant progressed, she began to realize that pageantry was not at all what she was expecting and was not the platform she desired to make change. After that season of her life, Tiffany now greatly believes that the mindset is where true success lies and not by just one's physical appearance. Due to patchy circumstances, she did not win the pageant, but immediately knew in her heart when one door closes, God has a grander one in store; one in which she would later find would be a larger platform than what she initially envisioned for herself. Around that same time, Paul Nutall reached out to her sharing his interest in bringing her on as one of the main talents of a reality show he was co-producing. During the times of filming, one of the girls began spreading lies in an attempt to sever her participation in the show. In the end, it turned out that she was secretly envious, and her pending warrants caused the whole show to be dropped, which shifted the path for Tiffany & Paul.
Although a season of turmoil, Tiffany firmly believes it was all a part of God's divine plan to shift them in the direction they were both destined to pursue. Paul then shared with her that he had been helping "fallen celebrities" prior to the development of the reality show, giving them βsecond chancesβ and helping them with their careers. Straight away she felt in her heart a prompting that this was the platform in which she would be able to help others. Tiffany met with Paul and shared an idea that would revolutionize the 2nd Chance start-up; switching the focus to not only giving 2nd Chances to fallen celebrities, but to the entire world and any one that was seeking a helping hand in life. This move reshaped and evolved 2nd Chance to become 2nd Chance Saves Lives, and later, their union as business-partners to holy matrimony. Although she received backlash and disownment from her family entering a biracial and age gap marriage, she moved forward into the door of her God-given destiny, in which she would share all her efforts, talents, and new-found passions with the world. By transforming her pain into power, her hard work, dedication, & passion of bettering the lives of others led her to become the Founder, CEO, Head of Production, & Executive Producer of 2nd Chance Saves Lives TV show & years later, the creation of 2nd Chance TV show & Production company, Forgotten Prisoners & 2nd Chance Radio TV show with her business partner, fellow entrepreneur, & now husband, Paul NuRoyal. Their like-mindedness, passion, dedication and love of helping those in-need joined them together on a divine mission to save the world one country at a time, producing their hit TV shows to be aired on various outlets coming soon. Stay tuned.
