MICHAEL R. “HARRY-O” HARRIS
“Giving back to the communities where my help is so desperately needed, it would be an honor and a privilege to have an opportunity to take this implanted wisdom back into the streets so that I can share which I have learned from these 30 years of incarceration to help heal my broken communities.”
Paul Nutall was born & raised in San Antonio, Texas. Despite growing up with the struggles of a single mother of 9 children, he successfully became a gang-unit officer for 4 years. During that time he also became a 3-time kick-boxing world champion in 1991 & was the karate instructor of Sean Elliott (NBA Spurs Champions). Paul left San Antonio in 1994 to Michigan after his family wrongfully disowned him, where he then earned two Master degrees for Criminal justice & Political science. With those degrees, he then became the Regional Youth specialist director of over 800+ staff at a facility called Wolverine Human services for 17 years. During that time, Paul trained with pro-boxer, now Hall of Famer, Chris Byrd, as his sparring partner, and contributed to his success in beating Evander Holyfield for the vacant IBF heavyweight championship on December 14, 2002. He also contributed as a sparring partner to Hasim Rahman, where he beat Lennox Lewis for the heavyweight championship of the world in 2001.
Paul's downfall came in 2007, when he was wrongly convicted of an internet scam bank fraud involving Nigerians, in which he served 14 months of his life waiting for his trial. At the time of trial, the judge reviewed his innocence and dropped 2-40 charges. Within the time of him running, incarceration, and Federal probation, he was unable to pay his child support for his several kids (law states that the government must be paid back before child support); this caused him to be picked up again to serve another 6 months shortly after his release from the Federal government.
When trying to reconcile his relationship with his family after 25 years, he found out his mother passed away in April 2017. Three months later, his father passed away whom he was unable to see before his passing as well. Grieving over the loss of both his parents, couples months later his eldest twin daughters died in Hurricane Harvey in Houston.
Later when filming a reality show that a television network was interested in, one of the girls apart of the show named, Ariana Vasquez, whom he dated in the past & let go from the show due to her unbeknownst criminal history, wrote a false “rip-off report” about Paul in a scheme to destroy his character and reputation. The truth came out that her immoral motives derived from being secretly envious of one of the girls apart of the show, whom he ironically married years later.
These series of back-to-back tragedies should have caused him to give up hope, but instead it motivated & strengthened Paul's faith to continue pushing forward in life to reaching his goals. Now he has created "2nd Chance Saves Lives" TV show, to serve his own justice through the lives of others.
Tiffany Louise Nutall was born in Zamboanga, Philippines and was raised in Los Angeles, California since the age of 3. Years later, she grew to become an ambitious business woman, entrepreneur, inventor, and singer. She grew up being a loner, and through this self-discovery, her gifts and talents developed and prospered. She was looked upon as the "black sheep" of the family, due to her unique character traits, mindset, and general misunderstanding of her drive and ambition. Not willing to settle for an average lifestyle, she has taken a departure into the unprecedented, diverging from the normal, humdrum existence, her family had not accepted. With her sights set for greater things, the only option was to further develop herself mentally by constantly networking, expanding her knowledge daily, and surrounding herself with like-minded individuals. While living with her family, Tiffany began to mature into a young adult and by the age of 18, she supported herself financially, invested in her own business ventures, and has also expanded her knowledge in real estate investing. Relentless ambition led her to become the youngest at a prominent financial firm, where she received licensure at the age of 19. Soon after she moved on from that field, realizing that her heart wanted to help individuals on a different platform. A product of beauty & brains, Tiffany then became a candidate for Miss Philippines-USA beauty pageant (pageant name changed) here in the states. Although she did not win the pageant due to patchy circumstances, her perspective is when one door closes, a greater door is meant to appear; a larger platform than what she had initially envisioned for herself. Tiffany strongly believes that the mindset is where true success lies and not by just one's physical appearance. There was another opportunity waiting, the door meant to be opened with the platform she was destined to have, in which she would share all of her efforts, talents & passions with the world.
By transforming her pain into power, at age 22 her hard work, dedication, & passion of bettering the lives of others led her to become the Co-founder & Co-CEO of the 2nd Chance organization where years later, she married her business partner, fellow entrepreneur, Paul Nutall. Their like-mindedness, passion, dedication, and love of helping those in-need joined them together on a divine mission to save the world with their upcoming hit TV show coming soon on a major network & their spin-off airing on FOX.
Michael R. Harris was born in Los Angeles, raised by a single parent, his mom. He grew up in a rough and disenfranchised neighborhood where opportunities were scarce, made a crucial mistake in judgment and took a road that would scar him for life. Michael, a natural born business man learns the drug trade later to be referred to as the "GodFather" of South Central LA and becomes a prominent investor in countless businesses starting from a young age.
While watching the TV and movie industry, Harris still believed in the dream, the day when African-Americans and people of color would share an equal playing field. That's where Harris came in, he provided employment in the entertainment field to those who simply lacked an opportunity. Harris brought the passion, skill-sets, and capital necessary to make it all come together. In the arts, African-Americans talent was ever present, and regardless of the artist genre, Harris was prepared to make it happen. Harris's interest in the theatre was sparked at the Inner City Cultural Center where he first encountered the play, "Checkmates," In 1986/87. He produced two plays, "Checkmates" and "Stepping into tomorrow," which featured performances by the daughters of Harry Belafonte, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and Sidney Poitier. "Checkmates" opened at the Westwood Playhouse to critical acclaim and then toured the country with cast members Vanessa Williams, Denzel Washington, Rudy Dee, and Paul Winfield and other great stage performers.
Unfortunately, it was during this time, one of the high points of Harris' life, that he was arrested and sent to prison; all the while "Checkmates" went on to premiere on Broadway. Harris was the first African American to ever finance and produce a Broadway Play. From the streets to the scenes, Michael gets arrested for an attempted murder charge, a crime he did not commit. Michael was exonerated and paroled in 2011 after serving 23 years on a 25-to-life sentence. While serving one of his state terms he was indicted on drug trafficking charges convicted to an additional sentence to 235 months to be ran consecutive to his 3 year state term in Federal prison which Harris has been incarcerated 10 years beyond his release date due to an error in the execution of his federal sentence; he has an upcoming court hearings within the next 60 days requesting immediate release.
While serving time in San Quentin, Harris was temporarily housed on Condemned Row better known as Death Row. While on Death Row, Harris came up with a vision for a record label that would capture the reality of extreme confinement and consequences. Harris went on to create and fund "Death Row Records" with his X-wife Lydia Harris, Suge Knight, Dr. Dre, and his criminal/business attorney David Kenner. The label produced Dr. Dre's debut L.P the Chronic, and promoted the careers of superstars Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Dog Pound, Lady the Rage, Jewell, and Tupac Shakur. (After the launch and success of Death Row Harris was cheated out of his company by his former partners) Harris went on to create and market and promote another record label with X-wife Lydia Harris "Lifestyle Records" in partnership with and multi platinum rap producer DJ BattleCat in 1994.
Harris later created, produced and helped to promote the critically acclaimed documentary entitled "Welcome to Death Row" which chronicled the creation of the label, the project was released in the early 2000's. Not too long after the release of Welcome to Death Row, Harris and X-wife Lydia filed a multi-million dollar law suit which the couple was rewarded 107 million dollars judgment against record label DRR and Suge Knight.
